Research & Teaching

In my role as research assistant and PhD candidate at the Institute for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies at the University of Leipzig, I focus mainly on the following areas:

  • Cognitive linguistics (esp. frame and metaphor theory)
  • Corpus linguistics
  • Political communication research
  • Contrastive linguistics
  • Machine translation

In addition to research projects, I also teach courses at university level. Here is an overview of the different courses and seminars I have taught in the past or will teach in the future:
